One of the things I need to work on is balancing driving 100% towards my goals WHILE letting go of control of the outcome.πŸ”₯

So I’ve made a practice around it. Each day on my #morningrun – after checking that the path is clear – I take ten steps with my eyes closed!

What!? Why would I do that, you ask?

Because it gives my body the feeling of #discipline and #surrender at the same time!

In yoga we call that balancing the #effort with the #grace.

And in life, we call that sanity.

The truth is we can only control so much. πŸ”₯

We can plant our seeds, but then we have to wait and trust in what comes. πŸ™πŸ½

If this sounds crazy to you, I totally get it.

Don’t start by running with your eyes closed, but do start by identifying a feeling you’d like to cultivate in your life. And whether it’s calm, love, liberation, confidence or purpose, find a way each day to connect with that feeling.

Just like my running practice, you can allow yourself to design something that’s as unique as you are.
